Phases & rounds

Build tiers, phases and rounds with per-round scoring methods, advancement rules and tie handling — or start from a template.

Judge consoles

Judges score on their phones with big bib-first targets, auto-save and submission tracking — designed for the floor, in low light.

Live leaderboards

Results compute as scores come in — podiums, ranked tables and season standings, with role colour-coding throughout.

Roles & co-organisers

Invite chief judges, MCs and co-organisers with the right access. Bulk-assign dancers and judges to panels in a few clicks.

Flexible Scoring Systems

Relative placement (RPSS), sum of ranks, yes/no/callback, numeric — the real J&J methods, computed correctly every time.

Import & export

Bring competitors in from CSV, export results and standings. Save any setup as a reusable template for next season.

How scoring works

Flexible scoring, your way

You choose the scoring method for each phase or round — yes/no, callbacks, numeric, or relative placement (the Skating System). JJLA runs the maths and resolves ties consistently.

1

Set your format

Build tiers, phases and rounds. Pick a scoring method per phase — whatever suits your event.

2

Judges score

Judges score on their phones from a bib-first console. Auto-saved, with clear submission status.

3

Results resolve

JJLA computes placements for your chosen method and resolves ties by your phase rules — transparent and repeatable.

4

Standings

Placements convert to season points, building the national leaderboard over the year.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Do competitors register on JJLA?
No — competitors sign up and pay through their existing ticketing. You add them to the competition (or import a CSV or Excel file), and we list a "Register / get tickets" link to their page on the public listing.
Which scoring methods are supported?
Yes/No, Yes/No/Callback, Numeric, Relative Placement (the Skating System / RPSS) and Sum of Ranks — set per round, with tie handling and strictly options.
Can judges score on their phones?
Yes. The judge console is mobile-first with large bib-first targets, auto-save and clear submission states — built for working live on the floor.
Does it work in both dark and light?
